Growing up my family always boiled the corn on the cob.  One day I tried grilling the corn on the grill and I have been addicted to Grilled Corn ever since.  It is so easy and saves all the nutrients vs. boiling the corn.  Plus the Caramelization is an extra bonus.

addicted to Grilled Corn ever since

Grilling corn does not take anymore time than boiling the corn.  They both take 20 minutes.

Corn preparation – Shucking Corn….Don’t remove all the husks from the corn.  Leave some to help protect the corn from burning.

Simple grilling of the corn for about 20 minutes or so on medium/high.  Rotating about every 5 to 7 minutes, so there is a little caramelization on all sides.

Do worry about caramelizing all the corn, because the husk that is left on helps to steam the corn and protect some of the surface.

As I said the husks help keep the moisture in and around the corn and cook it.  Some people talk about soaking the corn in water, but I never needed to.

The finished product..

Perfection!
