It seems like cucumbers do well in the mid-Atlantic region. Â Here our cucumber plant became a big bush. Â It first crawled up a tomato cage and then we created a large teepee like structure with some bamboo sticks.
I also created a little makeshift cage for my lettuce. Â I just had to make sure the cucumbers did not rest on the mesh or they might grow into it.
